Deanne Bray

Biography

Deanne Bray serves as Head of Finance and Accounting at ICSI, where she oversees the institute’s financial operations and accounting functions in support of long-term fiscal sustainability. She brings over two decades of financial leadership experience, primarily within nonprofit organizations operating across behavioral health, housing, public spaces, and environmental sectors.

Throughout her career, Bray has supported organizations with complex funding models, including endowments, private foundations, and multi-year government awards. She has led Single Audits, audit remediation efforts, and financial recoveries during periods of organizational stress. Her work often involves rebuilding finance functions, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.

Bray is known for her forensic accounting approach, working methodically to ensure traceability and accuracy from original source data through financial reporting. She has also advanced financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability across organizations.

She holds a BA/BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Adamson University and brings a systems-driven, detail-oriented perspective to nonprofit financial leadership.
