About ICSI
The International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit research institute based in Berkeley, California. Since 1988, ICSI has served as a hub for world-class research in computing and data sciences, with particular strengths in in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, networking and systems, security and privacy, speech, and language technologies.
ICSI is uniquely structured to support long-term, high-impact research through international collaboration. We bring together scientists, engineers, students, and policy experts from around the globe to address some of the most critical challenges at the intersection of computing and society.
