Biography

Caitlin Sinclair is a Research Administrator at ICSI, where she manages sponsored projects from proposal development, budgeting, and submission logistics to post-award tracking, financial reporting, and compliance. She is passionate about creating organized, replicable, and streamlined processes that support research teams and provide reliable, high-quality service. Caitlin has worked to develop faster, accurate workflows that maintain continuity and keep projects on track from start to finish.

Sinclair earned her BA in Environmental Science and Economics from Willamette University, where she was an NSF S-STEM Scholar and first-generation college graduate. Her experience as a scholar gave her firsthand insight into the importance of funding and the work it enables. Before joining ICSI, she worked in IT and web development, focusing on accessibility and leading website projects. This experience strengthened her skills in project management, organization, and building inclusive systems.

Passionate about equity, inclusion, and supporting research excellence, Caitlin is dedicated to helping researchers succeed and building systems that enable innovative projects to thrive.
