Biography

Omri Azencot, PhD, is a Research Affiliate at ICSI. He is also a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Stein Faculty of Computer and Information Science at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he leads the Sequential Learning Group. 

Dr. Azencot’s research focuses on deep learning, sequence modeling, and dynamical systems, with applications to generative modeling of complex time series data and multimodal models. His work has appeared in top venues such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and SIGGRAPH, and has been supported by major fellowships and grants including ISF, Marie Curie, Zuckerman, and the Adams Fellowship. 

Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles with Prof. Andrea Bertozzi. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, advised by Prof. Mirela Ben-Chen.
