Manya Sriram

Biography

Manya Sriram is an Affiliated Undergraduate Researcher at ICSI, where her work spans machine learning, data engineering, and software development. She is also an AI Developer Intern at Point One Zero, where she develops data extraction pipelines and AI-powered workflows that accelerate private equity research and analysis, and a Software Developer with Code for Good Berkeley, where she contributes technical solutions for nonprofit organizations and mission-driven initiatives.

At ICSI, Sriram conducts research within the Robust Deep Learning Group, focusing on AI safety and the evaluation of advanced machine learning systems. Her research aims to develop practical frameworks for assessing, aligning, and improving the reliability of state-of-the-art AI models. She is particularly interested in bridging the gap between theoretical approaches to AI alignment and the challenges of deploying safe, robust systems in real-world environments.

In addition to her research at ICSI, Sriram has gained experience across startups, nonprofit organizations, and industry-focused technology projects. Her technical interests include machine learning infrastructure, AI evaluation and alignment, data engineering, large language models, and intelligent agent systems. Through her academic, research, and professional work, Sriram is committed to advancing AI technologies that are both innovative and reliable, with an emphasis on translating cutting-edge research into practical applications that create meaningful impact.
