Abstract:

As part of the Babel project, we have developed the System for Running Systems (SRS). Strongly inspired by SRI's metadb and go.run-system, SRS provides a framework for running experiments and handing configuration options. The tools address running, archiving and debugging complex experiments, timing and logging, data storage, chaining experiments, parallelization, and cleanup. In this talk, I will provide a brief overview of the major components of SRS.
